What makes Igniting Dreams 2026?
Through support from the Mastercard Foundation, the Igniting Dreams Program has doubled in size this year. If you’re a young entrepreneur from Northern Ghana, ready to take your business to the next level and join a powerful network, review the requirements and submit your application.

Igniting Dreams Fellowship
The Igniting Dreams Fellowship provides business development training to selected young entrepreneurs from underserved Northern Ghana. Fellows are budding entrepreneurs between the ages of 15 – 35 with a strong desire to build sustainable businesses and create positive impact in their communities.
In 2026, 20 brilliant young entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in a 3-month online fellowship, culminating in a 1-week physical boot camp in Wa, Ghana. The purpose of the fellowship is to support selected entrepreneurs to refine their business models, strengthen their theory of change, and position their businesses for profitability, growth, and scale.

Igniting Dreams Summit
The Igniting Dreams Summit is a high-level platform for networking and focused dialogue on entrepreneurship, investment, technology, innovation, and development.
Fellows will pitch their businesses at the Summit, where they stand a chance to receive seed funding through the Igniting Dreams Prize and connect with investors, mentors, and ecosystem partners.
The two-day Summit features keynote speeches, panel discussions, breakout and networking sessions, exhibitions, a business pitch contest, and an awards dinner where the Igniting Dreams Prize winners are announced.

Igniting Dreams Prize
The Igniting Dreams Prize is seed capital awarded to the most promising entrepreneurs from each fellowship cohort.
In 2026, all 20 fellows will receive financial support for their businesses. The top 10 entrepreneurs will receive higher funding amounts in ascending order, while the remaining 10 fellows will receive equal base funding.
The top 10 prize winners will also benefit from a 6-month hybrid accelerator program designed to further develop their business models, build investor-ready financial models, and position their ventures for follow-on investment and job creation.
